Upcoming events

These are some of the events coming up soon.

Newsletter – Spring 2024 Welcome to the Spring edition of our seasonal Newsletter.

Over the last few months your committee have been busy rejuvenating and refreshing the publicity for the Stanmore Society, with revised leaflets and banners that you may have seen dotted around Stanmore recently. This is because we are keen to increase our membership and invite more participation in events and create closer connections with the local community. Please welcome your friends and families to join the Society, to help us continue to inform you about what is happening in the area, in the past, present and in the future. We are also encouraging more local businesses and other Societies to join the Stanmore Society and we are hoping our Summer edition of the Newsletter will feature a businesses and local organisations’ perspective of Stanmore. We have a number of vacant posts on the Committee, please join! We are also keen to get an understanding of what you would find helpful to know about. Please give us feedback on this. You can do this in a number of ways, through the Stanmore Society Facebook page, via our website (which has also been updated recently), writing in or sending us an email or voicemail. As well as keeping you posted on local environment and planning and policing issues, we will be organising 4 major events a year.
