We're pleased to announce the first proper release of our new tool to provide you with some insight to the current state of Planning Applications submitted to Harrow Council.
We fetch updates regularly and display them in what we hope is a clear and navigable form.
On our website, we simply surface a snapshot of activity:
The boxes contain approximate counts of activity within the last 30 days. In this sample, 34 have been received or pending consideration, not yet decided. 118 were approved and 24 refused during the 30 days. (Sadly, dates are not entirely reliable.) There are 16 open applications flagged as being "Green belt" and 6 in a conservation area.
Clicking on any one of these boxes opens a new browser window:
There are three parts to this. On the left, a selection of "filters" you can select to reduce the number of applications visible. When there are no selections, the middle section shows all the applications we have collected. Click on any box in the middle to see the right hand panel which shows the location on a map.
Also on the right, if it's available, a button that will take you directly to the Harrow Council Planning Portal where you can log in to see the whole application and make a response.
There are limitations; we hold nothing that was created over a year ago, and we purge anything that has been closed for more than 30 days.
