Stanmore Gardens Ltd, a local developer, is preparing plans to transform an underused car park in Stanmore, behind the Broadway, part of which is used by Lidl.
Parking for Lidl and other existing commercial tenants will be re-provided in the new plans, along with space for new shops, public green space, co-working space for all to use, and different types of new homes.
The new spaces will help create a safer, livelier and more welcoming town centre. As the site has already been developed before, building here also helps protect Harrow’s Green Belt, something we know many local residents care about.
We will be holding an initial public consultation from 6th – 21st July 2026. Please do visit this website then when our proposals will be made available for comment.
