Our Mission
The Stanmore Society was founded in 1959, with the aims of:
- Promoting Community Cohesion
- Protecting the Green Belt
- Watching over Stanmore Common and Stanmore Country Park
- Preventing vandalism
- Improving the quality of the environment
- Monitoring Planning Applications
- Supporting Local Policing
- Improving traffic and parking problems
- Working with local organisations for a better Stanmore
